Burn your fellow only when attended. Burn on an even, heat-resistant surface. Keep the candle out of reach from children & pets. Do not burn near flammables, fabrics or drapery. Do not move while lit. Avoid drafts. Do not extinguish with water.

After receiving your new fellow, trim the wick to ¼ inch before the initial burn, and every burn thereafter. Upon initial burn, keep lit until wax is fully melted across the entire diameter of the glassware or vessel. This step is to prevent tunneling, and ultimately will ensure you get the most out of your candle. Refrain from burning more than 4 hours at a time. Keep the wax pool clear of debris., like soot, match sticks, etc.  Discard when ½ inch of wax remains and choose your next fellowhouse to enjoy!
